The other day Jacob, Manny, Alex, and I were going to visit the skatepark, thinking that, obviously, no one would be there. Yeah, that’s funny.
As we pulled up in the car, we saw people there who knew what they were doing, so we had to duck down behind the seats hoping nobody saw the makeshift boards in our hands (Alex’s is pretty amusing. It’s like, twice as wide and long as a normal board, and it used to have Spiderman on the bottom, until he drowned it out with so much spray paint that if you tried to grind, it would stick to the surface and you would tumble to a painful demise.) and get the hell out of there. We ended up going to the elementary school again for a while.
Despite my pitiful lack of skill, I at least feel like I’m making progress. I just wish there were more time in the day. Between all this stuff at school, and guitar, and soccer, I actually find that I only really get to go skate during the weekends. Maybe I’ll find some time tomorrow morning though, with Jacob and Manny again. They came over today with Andy, and we started to film our extreme hi-fives. Don’t expect a video soon, though.
